An all-time favorite, this Nashville landmark is known for their Nashville Biscuits and delicious down-home cooking. This wonderful Southern cafe maintains a quaint country charm while serving up some of the best Nashville eats. Visit one of the many eclectic on-site shops while you wait!
I love the atmosphere of The Southern. It features incredible gourmet twists on southern classics. Diners travel for the Southern friend staples at the oyster bar in this trendy spot.

This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Nashville, and it has never disappointed. Super convenient location right in Midtown, easily accessible from all of our properties. As simple as it sounds, their burger is easily one of the best I’ve had. It’s just so juicy and flavorful, even if there are not any crazy toppings. The roasted artichoke appetizer is also, hands-down, the best appetizer ever. The brunch on weekends is amazing, with 2-for-1 mimosas! There can be a line at times, but it’s well worth the wait!
A longtime local favorite. “Hole in the wall, with some of the best food I have had”. It has been around since I first moved to Nashville and all of our local friends and their family continue to eat here before a Vanderbilt Football or Basketball games. Cold beer, burgers, and handmade milkshakes since 1945. With an addition of meat and three options, a true southern style staple! Family owned an operated; it is nice to have great food and even better company.
Long running restaurant serving creative American cuisine in an intimate art-lined setting. Wonderful, quaint, high-service atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and well taken care of. Anytime I want to take the wife out on a nice date or send my friend from out of town to a nice restaurant, I always suggest Midtown Café. Everything on the menu and wine list is top notch. Small setting feels like you’re in a hidden Nashville gem that adds to your good feeling while having the best Lemon Artichoke soup known to man.
Built in an old grocery store, Puckett's serves southern classics with the feeling of home. An extensive menu that offers everything from shrimp and grits to to the best black bean burger I've ever had, this hometown hot spot has something for everyone. Warm service, family friendly atmosphere and live music in the evenings make Puckett's my favorite place to dine in downtown Nashville.

Double Dogs - 2 locations close - Hillsboro Village and Sylvan Heights. Hillsboro Village: 1807 21st Ave. (615)292-8110. Sylvan Heights: 4017 Charlotte Ave. (615)298-5819.
I personally visited the Sylvan Heights location: If you are looking for a very laid back atmosphere and like to watch sports, this is the place for you. TV's Everywhere. I took my 2 young boys and they loved being able to watch the TV's while waiting on their food. Food and service was great. It is probably a good happy hour type place too. Has outdoor seating as well. Very open.
A nice place to hop in, get a quick bite to eat, and hop right back out! Good and speedy service as well as great food! This pub serve burgers, tacos, and much more! There are two floors with two bars and multiple TVs. Hopsmith Tavern has a hipster vibe and is a great place to go with family or friends. They also have outside seating on both floors for days when the weather is beautiful!
Hattie B's has some of the best chicken in the area! From whole pieces of chicken, to chicken tenders, to wings... they've got it! They also have multiple sauces that have different levels of hotness ranging from southern, no heat, going all the way up to shut the cluck up! They also have plenty of amazing sides and desserts! Hattie B's ALWAYS has a long line out of the door! So the secret is to go online, place a to-go order, skip the line, sit down, and enjoy your food! Just don't tell anyone we told you!
My all-time favorite Brunch spot! It's family owned and the service is always great! Every time I've gone, I've had something different and my food was always delicious. The decor is also very nice and they have gorgeous art work on the walls which is for sale! A great atmosphere as well as great food equals up to a great time!
Union Common. 1929 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203. (615) 329-4565.
One of the first places I grabbed a drink that wasn’t downtown, and their selection is amazing! To top that, their atmosphere is great, relaxing while still offering a little more, no matter if you are sitting at the bar or dining in. Their steak is amazing! And, if the price is a bit of a deterrent, check out their Happy Hour special, they have great deal on their appetizers (I quite enjoy the blackened shrimp). This place is still widely unknown, so can probably get you in on those really busy nights.
Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is one of the world’s largest museums and research centers. The history is just incredible. One could spend hours reading and admiring the collection of country music history. My favorite artifact in the museum is the old writings on cocktail napkins from Waylon Jennings that turned out to be his top hits! This is a must see hot spot in Nashville.
I have been to Cheekwood several times now, and it’s always a wonderful experience! If you’re in Nashville in the spring, you have to go see the tulips! It’s definitely one of those things you have to add to your Nashville Bucket List. In the winter, however, the light display is also amazing (and you can see real reindeer!) The gardens are pretty large, so be prepared to walk a bit, up and down hills as well. We love watching the train display outside! The mansion is amazing, and always included in your admission price. There are so many fantastic photo spots, and you could easily spend several long hours there.
Pick-ups conveniently located at some of the most popular Nashville attractions. Within our three hotel’s shuttle range as well. I have lived here for years, and still enjoyed these comprehensive city tours; a “crash course of Nashville”. They have a fun guides, interesting stories of Nashville history, and ease around the city (not walking or driving yourself). It is a great way to fit a lot in if you have a short time here!
Almost 12 acres of parks in the heart of downtown Nashville right next to the famous honky-tonk Lower Broadway area. Great areas to people watch, interact with locals, activities for children, and open space for recreation and events. A place where locals go to be a part of their city while taking in the sites of a growing Nashville skyline. A small water park to explore, an outdoor concert venue, children play areas, and tours of Fort Nashborough are some other fun options for you and the family to feel connected to this great city. Walking along the pedestrian bridge that connects both parks is always fun and is the best place to take pictures of you and Nashville in the background!
Just a few blocks from Vanderbilt University, The Frist Center for the Visual Arts offers a unique way to experience an art gallery. There is no permanent collection here so this allows the museum curators to bring in a wide variety of collections that appeal to most anyone. From Italian fashion in the 1800's to Roman artifacts, from classic Renaissance painters to modern abstract artists, the Frist Center is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. They even have an entire floor dedicated to hands on activities for kids (and adults)! Here you can make your own ink block print, stop motion video or clay sculpture. There is something here for everyone.
